Job Description

PRIMARY PURPOSE:
As a Parking Attendant, you greet guests, assist with luggage, and safely operate vehicles to and from the parking area. Provide outstanding service, ensuring an exceptional hotel guest experience.

Position Status: Full-Time
Location: Gold Strike Casino

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Warmly greet all arriving guests at the Valet Entrance while providing courteous, efficient, and enthusiastic valet parking services.
• Collect a vehicle claim check and retrieve the guest’s vehicle for their departure.
• Accommodate guests requiring special assistance and aid.
• Report issues and/or potential problems to security or immediate supervisor to avoid traffic congestion and delays at the valet entrance.
• Assist in regulating the movement and flow of vehicles to avoid traffic congestion.
• Answer guest questions about hotel registration, restaurants, events, activities, and attractions.
• Resolve guest problems within the scope of authority, otherwise, refer to the supervisor on duty.
• Report all alleged thefts or missing items to the supervisor and/or hotel security for further investigation.
• Assist bell persons with the movement of luggage as necessary.
• Perform other job‐related duties as requested.


SUPERVISION:
None

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Two (2) years of experience working in service‐related positions or similar resort setting.
• Work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays


CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, AND REGISTRATIONS:
• Valid State issued Driver’s License

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
• Excellent customer service skills and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with all business contacts
