The Marketing Manager at Sonesta Resort Hilton Head is responsible for developing and executing property-level marketing strategies that drive awareness and maximize revenue across all hotel market segments and Food & Beverage outlets.
Reporting to the property Director of Sales & Marketing, the Marketing Manager will lead the resort’s marketing initiatives as well as implementation of local partnerships and activations. The Marketing Manager will collaborate closely with the Corporate Field Marketing Manager, ensuring alignment with brand standards, digital best practices, and enterprise-level strategy. This role focuses on property-owned channels and initiatives, while leveraging cross-functional support for activities and platforms managed at the corporate portfolio level.
HotelMarketingand Experiential Manager
Reporting to the property Director of Sales & Marketing (DOSM), theHotel Marketing and Experiential Managerassistswith the resort’s social media and public relations efforts, as well ason-propertycoordination of local partnerships,eventsand activations.
This role supports property-owned channels and initiatives, collaborating with cross-functional teams andleveragingcorporate resourcesand best practicesforproperty events,activities and platforms managed at thepropertylevel.
TheHotel Marketing Manager and Experiential Managerworks closely with the Corporate Field Marketing Manager (FMM) to help ensure alignment with brand standards, and broader enterprise strategy.

Key Responsibilities:
Public Relations, Social Media & Influencers
Partner with the DOSM to managelocalPRagency of record,understanding business and commercial needsin order toinform strategy and plans.
Support press/influencerpropertystays and venue visits on site when needed,coordinatingitineraries, photo moments, and talking points.
Own the hotel’s social media strategyand content engine,developing robust content calendar and collaborating with property salesand marketing coordinator onplanning,creation,scheduling, and reporting
Manage local social media advertising budget, maximizing reach and awareness for F&B outlets and local programming, complementing corporate-managed hotel paid social strategy.
Programming, Partnerships & Brand Initiatives
Support the development and coordination of locally driven, brand-aligned programming and partnerships that enhance on-property visibility, guest engagement, and incremental revenue.
Collaborate closely with Food & Beverage leaders and local partners toassistin executing initiatives that drive traffic and awarenesstoon-site outlets for both resort guests and the surrounding community.
Work with property leaders tofacilitateactivation of brand initiatives at the resort level.
Creative, Photo/Video & Collateral
Provideon-sitesupport forphoto/video shootsasrequired,coordinatingwithcorporateBrand and Marketing teamson architectural, lifestyle, orpartnership-led shootsin accordance withcorporate SOP and merchandising standards.
Utilizeenterprise-providedmarketing collateraltoolkittoensurepropertymarketing materials such as flyers, menus, signage, and event collateral are in alignment with brand standards.
CommercialEngagement& Project Management
Support the DOSM and department leaders inmaintainingthe annual property marketing calendar, including coordination of seasonal promotions, F&B activations, and recreation programming at the resort level.
Participate in internal and external meetings and calls with hotel leadership, sales, revenue, corporate marketing, and external PR partners to help ensure alignment and follow-through onproperty initiatives.
Support the hotel’s presence at local community and industry events,representingthe property and brand in a professional and collaborative manner.
Stay informed on relevant industry trends and emerging best practices, sharing insights asappropriate tosupport property-level marketing efforts.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing,PR/Communications, orHospitality and Tourism Management.
5-8 years’experiencein marketing orPR/communications, preferably in a hotel orfood & beverageenvironment.
Strong understanding of media relations principles and brand standards, with the ability to support consistent brand representation across channels.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with comfort presenting ideas and collaborating across teams
Creative thinker with an interest in storytelling and elevating on-property experiences through engaging content and activations.
Highly organized, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple initiatives in a fast-paced environment.
Team-oriented mindset, with the ability to build productive relationships with internal departments, F&B and hotel partners, and external vendors or community stakeholders.
Proficiencyin relevant marketing platforms and tools, including WordPress, Adobe Express, and Meta Business Suite.
