Job Description

Scarborough's new property HomeAwhile is seeking experienced hotel associates to join our team as a Hotel Attendant.

This role requires a strong understanding of front office procedures and overall hotel operations, including coordination with housekeeping, guest room cleaning support, basic maintenance response, snow removal, and assistance with public area and laundry functions. The Hotel Attendant serves as the first point of contact for guests, providing professional, friendly assistance both in person and over the phone to ensure a positive, safe, and seamless guest experience.

This position does require schedule flexibility as candidates:

Must be available to work nights, weekends and holidays.

Must be reliable to work as scheduled with minimal schedule change requests.

Requirements

Hotel Attendant Requirements Include:

  • Minimum 1 year front desk operations experience
  • Supervisory experience a plus
  • Good interpersonal skills in person, written and over the phone
  • Fluent Communication in English both spoken and written
  • Schedule flexibility
  • Availability Nights, weekends and Holidays
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time
