The Hot Shot Driver is responsible for safely operating company vehicles to deliver products to specified customer locations. This role includes loading and unloading goods, performing vehicle checks, and supporting general warehouse operations as needed.
This position works in both indoor warehouse and outdoor settings, with exposure to seasonal weather conditions.
While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to use their hands to handle or feel objects, reach with their arms, and communicate effectively by speaking and hearing. The role frequently involves standing, walking, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling, and may occasionally require sitting or climbing. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move items weighing over 100 pounds. Visual requirements include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
To ensure safety and compliance, employees in this role are required to always wear steel-toe or composite safety shoes.
