We’re now looking for a Host/Hostess to join our team!
The role
As a Host/Hostess at Big Mamma, you’ll be the first person our guests meet, creating a warm, professional and welcoming experience from the moment they arrive.
You will:
Greet and seat guests, allocate tables and accommodate walk-ins
Master our bookings system and ensure every enquiry is managed efficiently
Solve problems proactively when bookings or service don’t go as planned
Maintain cleanliness, organisation and health & safety standards across the floor
Support your colleagues during service with a positive, friendly attitude
Create memorable moments for guests with a warm, professional approach
About you
Big smile and passion for Italian food
High energy, proactive attitude and team spirit
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Knowledge of online booking systems ( SevenRooms is a bonus)
Previous experience as a Host/Hostess in a busy restaurant
Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends
