
This position typically starts at $16.00 per hour and works a variable schedule, including evenings, weekends and holidays. Team members begin accruing PTO starting on day one, and full‑time employees are eligible for benefits after 90 days.
The primary responsibility of the Host is to ensure guests are cheerfully greeted, whether in person or on the phone, and to seat arriving guests in a timely manner. They also serve as the restaurant’s first and last impression.
Demonstrates regular and predictable attendance; arrives on time in full, clean uniform with required name tag, ID, and licenses, ready to work with a heads‑up, ready‑to‑serve attitude. Keeps personal phones “backstage” in non‑guest areas.
Greets all guests and fellow team members warmly and professionally, in line with our Family Style Service culture.
Welcomes guests, provides menus, guides them to their tables, and offers a friendly initial introduction.
Maintains a clean, organized, and inviting host podium and entrance area, ensuring menus are cleaned daily and reporting any menu issues to Management.
Helps coordinate seating to ensure a fair and balanced flow for the server team.
Learns and maintains basic knowledge of menu items, restaurant concepts, and service standards to confidently assist guests.
Supports fellow Hosts and team members to keep operations running smoothly.
Follows all safety procedures and standard operating guidelines.
Performs additional duties as assigned with a helpful, team‑oriented approach.
Works a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed.
Ability to read, write, and understand English.
Communicates effectively and maintains positive working relationships with guests, coworkers, and management.
Uses guests’ names when possible to create a warm, personalized experience.
Understands and follows all policies, procedures, service standards, and instructions, including safety and chemical handling guidelines.
Promotes casino events, property services, and current promotions.
Works well independently and as part of a team.
Meets attendance and punctuality guidelines and adheres to all regulatory, departmental, and company requirements.
Maintains a neat, clean, and professional appearance.
