Job Location: Wilbur Mansion - Bethlehem, PA 18015A Host/Hostess warmly welcomes and engages guests upon arrival, fostering a comfortable and personalized experience throughout their stay. Using active listening and empathy, they anticipate and address guests' needs, striving to understand their preferences on a personal level. They serve as a key contact and resource for guests, offering creative solutions to any challenges that arise. Additionally, a Host ensures that guests depart with a positive impression, encouraging their return to the hotel in the future.

Essential Job Functions:
- Warmly greet and welcome guests upon arrival, providing a positive first impression.
- Manage reservations and maintain an organized seating chart to optimize table turnover.
- Seat guests promptly and efficiently, considering server sections and guest preferences.
- Communicate effectively with guests, servers, and management to ensure a smooth dining experience.
- Practice safe work habits, including wearing protective safety equipment and following MSDS and OSHA standards.
- Perform other duties as requested by management.

Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous food and beverage experience or equivalent training required.
- Work schedule varies and may include working on holidays, weekends and alternate shifts.
- Requires standing for extended periods, walking, pushing, lifting up to 25 pounds, bending and reaching..
