About The Role:

Four Seasons Hotel and Residences New Orleans is now accepting candidates to join our Food and Beverage team as a host/hostess. As a Host(ess), you are the first point of connection for our guests and the curator of memorable dining experiences. You create a warm and welcoming atmosphere from the moment guests arrive, delivering exceptional service and personalized hospitality that reflect our commitment to excellence. Every interaction is an opportunity for you to make a lasting impression and set the stage for an unforgettable restaurant experience.

What You'll Do:

• Welcome guests and provide exceptional service during their dining experience in collaboration with a team of servers.
• Manage the host stand, review the reservation book and make recommendations as to the setup of the table sections.
• Ensure cleanliness of each section of the dining rooms and make necessary improvements as well as check each table prior to opening to ensure its proper set.
• Develop a complete working knowledge of the menus, menu ingredients and restaurant information.

What You Bring:

• One to two years’ previous experience in Food & Beverage outlet; previous employment experience within fine dining restaurants is preferred
• Ability to operate computer equipment and other food & beverage computer systems
• Strong communication skills
• Valid U.S. Work Authorization

What To Expect:

• Thrive in a dynamic restaurant environment with a flexible schedule that include late morning, afternoon, evening, weekend, and holiday shifts. Scheduled hours may range from 10:00 a.m. through 11:00 p.m. or restaurant close.
• Collaborate with Restaurant Leadership and team members to communicate essential guest and operational information, ensuring exceptional service and a seamless dining experience.
• Work in a fast-paced environment with continuous standing, walking, and movement throughout the restaurant.
