The Host/Hostess role is essential to delivering the elevated service, vibrant energy, and genuine hospitality that define the guest experience at AC Hotel & Moxy Dallas . As the first point of contact for our guests, the Host/Hostess creates a welcoming atmosphere, sets the tone for the dining experience, and serves as an ambassador of our brand and culture.

Our ideal candidate is organized, professional, friendly, and passionate about hospitality. They can remain calm and composed during high-volume service periods while effectively managing reservations, guest flow, and seating arrangements. The Host/Hostess ensures every guest feels valued from the moment they arrive and contributes to a memorable dining experience.

Essential Responsibilities

• Manage reservation and seating systems to ensure efficient guest flow and proper table assignments.
• Greet all guests with warmth, professionalism, and genuine hospitality.
• Escort guests to their tables and provide accurate information regarding dining and hotel amenities.
• Receive and execute room service or takeout orders promptly and accurately when applicable.
• Answer incoming phone calls and communicate effectively with guests, team members, and management.
• Maintain awareness of restaurant operations, table status, and wait times.
• Support food and beverage operations by assisting with assigned side work throughout the shift.
• Adhere to company grooming, uniform, and appearance standards.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health regulations.
• Work safely, efficiently, and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Develop a strong knowledge of the menu, beverage offerings, promotions, and hotel amenities.
• Embrace the culture of AC Hotel & Moxy Dallas Downtown and contribute positively to a team-oriented environment.
• Deliver exceptional guest service and resolve minor guest concerns in a professional manner.

Qualifications

• Previous hospitality, restaurant, hotel, or customer service experience preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Ability to maintain composure during busy periods.
• Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Passion for creating memorable guest experiences.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
