Job Description
We are a high volume, local restaurant that serves high quality food in a casual atmosphere and strive to provide excellent food & service to all that enter our doors.
We are a high-volume restaurant looking for a hostess to great guests as they enter our doors and manage our reservations / waitlist .
Responsibilities
- Greet guests as they enter our doors
- Seating guests rotating servers as much as possible
- Utilizing our reservation system to keep up with the waitlist when necessary
- Assisting in cleaning / bussing to keep up the flow of the restaurant
Qualifications
- Hostess experience encouraged but not required
- Positive attitude and the ability to work well under pressure
- You will need to be well spoken and able to deal with people in stressful situations

Amsterdam Cafe was founded in 1991 and has become a staple restaurant to the Auburn community! We offer our guests high quality food in a casual, inviting atmosphere! We also have 2 Food Trucks on Auburn University campus, and will soon be adding two new locations in Auburn to serve our growing community!
