Our client is a well-established and highly regarded hospitality group in Malta, renowned for delivering exceptional dining experiences and outstanding customer service. They are currently seeking a professional and enthusiastic Hostess to join their team.

The Hostess is the first point of contact for guests and plays a key role in creating a positive and memorable dining experience. The ideal candidate will be welcoming, organised, and customer-focused, ensuring that every guest receives excellent service from the moment they arrive.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome and greet guests in a warm and professional manner.
• Manage reservations and maintain an organised booking system.
• Escort guests to their tables and provide menus.
• Coordinate seating arrangements to maximise guest satisfaction and restaurant efficiency.
• Handle guest enquiries and provide information about the restaurant and its services.
• Manage waiting lists and communicate estimated waiting times when necessary.
• Liaise closely with the restaurant management and service team to ensure smooth operations.
• Answer telephone calls and manage reservation requests efficiently.
• Ensure the reception and waiting areas are always clean, organised, and welcoming.
• Address guest requests or concerns promptly and professionally.
• Support the team in delivering exceptional customer service standards.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Hostess, Receptionist, or in a customer-facing hospitality role is preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Fluent in English; knowledge of Italian or additional languages will be considered an asset.
• Professional appearance and a positive attitude.
• Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
• Ability to remain calm and professional in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent customer service skills and attention to detail.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required.
