Host / Hostess @ The Chedi Hotel & Residences Luštica Bay

At The Chedi Hotel & Residences Luštica Bay we are looking for Hosts and Hostesses who understands the rhythm and dynamics of a luxury F&B setting, knows how to implement 5* standards naturally and how to handle all guest inquiries in our F&B outlets.

This role is essential in supporting our Food & Beverage outlets operations and ensuring that our high standards are reflected in every welcome, every smile, every table booking and every other guest interaction.

Your role:
As a Host / Hostess, you will be responsible for providing a welcoming environment for guests in all our F&B outlets and projecting a friendly, pleasant and professional image to all guests and visitors, ensuring their experience within our F&B outlets remain a memory they will cherish.

This position is based on-site and reports to the Head Hostess functionally, and to outlet manager, in the sense of synergy.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Ensuring that the hosting aspect of The Chedi and its outlets is managed at the highest possible level

• Adhering to the established standards and procedures perfectly

• Greeting and welcoming the guests at the entrance of F&B outlet

• Assisting guests in F&B outlets to be seated upon arrival

• Strict adherence to LQA and Forbes Hospitality Standards

• Checking the booking list for F&B outlets and planning seating arrangements accordingly

• Managing and anticipating needs, requests and wishes of guests

• Maintaining knowledge and implementation of all outlet reservation and booking procedures

• Communicating with bar, restaurant and kitchen teams to ensure that eventual special guests requests are met

Who we’re looking for:

• High School Diploma

• Basic knowledge of hotel operations, preferably within F&B or Guest Experience roles

• Good knowledge of F&B function and hospitality industry

• Full professional proficiency in English (additional languages are an advantage)

• Previous hotel experience is considered an advantage

• Knowledge of LQA and Forbes standards will be considered as an advantage

• Strong communication and organizational skills

• Professional and well-presented appearance

• Strong sense of teamwork, responsibility, and integrity
