Host Cashier – Passagios at Tropicana Laughlin

If you’re the kind of person who can welcome guests with a genuine smile, keep the energy upbeat, and handle transactions with confidence, you’ll feel right at home at Passagios. As a Host Cashier, you’re the first friendly face our guests meet—and the one who helps ensure their visit starts and ends on a high note. You’ll guide the flow of the dining room, manage seating with ease, and deliver smooth, accurate cash‑handling that reflects the service standards of Tropicana Laughlin.

Must be available for scheduled work.

Must exhibit the Thoughtful Service model at all times.

Guest‑Facing Duties

• Welcome guests warmly and seat them using a rotation system to maximize service
• Answer phones with professional etiquette and assist with reservations
• Communicate clearly with guests, coworkers, and supervisors
• Clear and reset tables quickly during peak hours—aiming for under two minutes

Cash Handling & POS

• Accurately process payments and return correct change or receipts
• Maintain your assigned cash bank and complete end‑of‑shift reports
• Learn and operate the POS system used by the outlet

What We’re Looking For

• 1 year of cash‑handling experience preferred
• Valid SNHD Health Card
• Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently
• Comfort with basic math and using a cash register
• Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays

Physical Demands

• Lift up to 30 lbs and push/pull up to 150 lbs
• Stand and walk for the entire shift, including stairs
• Work in hot, cold, smoky, or dusty environments
