Host Cashier – Beach Café at Harrah’s Laughlin Beach Resort

If you’re the kind of person who can greet guests with a Family Style Service smile, juggle transactions with ease, and keep the dining flow smooth as a desert breeze, this role might be your perfect fit. As a Host Cashier at the Beach Café, you’ll be the welcoming face that sets the tone for each guest’s dining experience while ensuring accurate and efficient cash handling.

Guest‑Facing Duties

• Welcome guests warmly and seat them using a rotation system to maximize service
• Answer phones with professional etiquette and assist with reservations
• Communicate clearly with guests, coworkers, and supervisors
• Clear and reset tables quickly during peak hours—aiming for under two minutes

Cash Handling & POS

• Accurately process payments and return correct change or receipts
• Maintain your assigned cash bank and complete end‑of‑shift reports
• Learn and operate the POS system used by the outlet

What We’re Looking For

• 1 year of cash‑handling experience preferred
• Valid Health Card
• Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently
• Comfort with basic math and using a cash register
• Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays

Physical Demands

• Lift up to 30 lbs and push/pull up to 150 lbs
• Stand and walk for the entire shift, including stairs
• Work in hot, cold, smoky, or dusty environments
