Regardless of where you’re from, everyone has a favorite neighborhood restaurant they always crave because it feels like home. Juliet Italian Kitchen, located in the heart of Austin’s beloved Zilker Park neighborhood, strives to be that destination for anyone seeking a relaxed Italian spot for a date night, business lunch or casual weekend brunch. Juliet embodies community and camaraderie through shared meals between friends and family.
A nod to Shakespeare, Juliet replaced long-time Italian institution, Romeo’s, on Austin’s original restaurant row. When owner Daniel Wilkins quickly realized the gap in the local restaurant scene for a neighborhood staple that guests can depend on to satisfy their Italian cravings. Large enough to host walk-ins and reservations for both lunch and dinner, yet upscale enough for special occasions and celebrations, Juliet truly has something for everybody. As they crafted the concept for Juliet, the main objectives remained: warm hospitality and a commitment to excellence in each dish served to guests.
Juliet’s ethos is centered on a warm and welcoming atmosphere lending its feeling of home. The elevated interior showcases local art to bring the classics of Italy to the trademarked weirdness of Austin. The outdoor covered patio allows for enjoyable dining alfresco during pleasant and favorable seasons and for parties of all sizes. Juliet is ideal for large celebrations and offers private dining options, family-style catering and restaurant buy-outs to make each event specially tailored to the guest.
Above all, Juliet takes pride in providing a neighborhood dining experience that guests can call home and looks forward to continuing to serve Austinites and their families for years to come.
