Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome guests as they arrive, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere
- Manage dining room reservations and assist in arranging parties or special events
- Coordinate guest seating arrangements and assist in managing dining room flow
- Assist with to-go orders, ensuring accuracy and timely execution
- Provide special services for diners celebrating special occasions
- Maintain the front-of-house area, ensuring a neat and clean environment for guests and staff
- Collaborate with the management team to assist with special events, as well as ad hoc tasks as needed
- Ensure all guests receive an exceptional dining experience from start to finish
- Assist with guest needs and help guide them through the menu, ensuring a seamless dining experience
QualificationsWhat We’re Looking For
Experience:
- Prior experience as a Host or in a guest-facing role is preferred
- Experience with reservation systems like OpenTable is a plus
- A background in fine-dining or upscale-casual restaurants is a plus
Skills & Qualities:
- Exceptional communication skills and a polished phone manner
- Friendly, professional, and engaging personality with a passion for hospitality
- Ability to multitask and stay organized in a busy, fast-paced environment
- A team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks in a high-energy setting
- Professional demeanor and ability to interact with guests in a courteous and respectful manner
- Ability to maintain a clean and organized work environment, contributing to an excellent guest experience
