On-Call Banquet Server

Pay Rate: $19.00/hour — No Tips

Schedule: On-Call / As Needed

Position Summary

Micone Staffing Resources is seeking polished, professional, and service-focused Banquet Servers for on-call event assignments. This position supports upscale banquets, special events, corporate functions, and other high-level hospitality events.

Candidates must have prior banquet or upscale restaurant serving experience and be comfortable working in a professional environment with strict grooming and presentation standards.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Provide professional, attentive food and beverage service during banquets and special events.
• Set up banquet rooms, tables, place settings, and service areas according to event requirements.
• Serve plated meals, beverages, and other food items in a professional and timely manner.
• Clear tables and maintain a clean, organized event space throughout service.
• Follow proper banquet service etiquette and established service standards.
• Respond professionally and courteously to guest requests.
• Assist with event breakdown and cleanup at the conclusion of service.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety requirements.
• Work closely with banquet captains, supervisors, culinary staff, and other event team members.
• Maintain a professional demeanor throughout the entire assignment.

Minimum Qualifications

• At least 6 months of banquet serving or high-end/upscale restaurant service experience required.
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen. THC-friendly.
• Must be comfortable working on an on-call/as-needed basis, including evenings, weekends, and holidays depending on event schedules.
• Must be dependable, punctual, and able to report to scheduled assignments on time.
• Must have strong customer service and communication skills.
• Must be comfortable standing and walking for extended periods and carrying trays during service.

Professional Appearance & Grooming Standards

This position requires a conservative, polished, and professional appearance consistent with an upscale hospitality environment.

While working an assignment:

• Visible tattoos are not permitted.
• Visible facial or body piercings are not permitted.
• Gauges are not permitted.
• Hair must be clean, neat, and professionally styled.
• Facial hair, if worn, must be clean and neatly groomed.
• Nails must be clean, neat, and appropriate for food service.
• Employees must maintain excellent personal hygiene.
• Uniforms and clothing must be clean, pressed, and professional.
• Overall presentation must be conservative, clean, polished, and appropriate for an upscale banquet environment.

Schedule & Compensation

This is an on-call position with shifts offered based on scheduled events and client needs. Hours are not guaranteed and may include weekdays, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Pay Rate: $19.00 per hour

Tips: This is a non-tipped position. Employees will not receive tips or gratuities.
