
Seeking a Hospitality & Events Supervisor who will be responsible for elevating hospitality and client service and delivering a best-in-class employee, visitor and client experience in the New York Office. The Hospitality & Events Supervisor mentors, trains, coaches and supervises the reception and catering teams, including: event and meeting planning and catering, food/beverage service, supply ordering and kitchen and conference room support, while developing, implementing and continuously improving processes, procedures, standard operating procedures (SOPs) and service standards to drive operational excellence. This person will partner closely with the Facilities Manager — and both roles will provide operational support and coverage for one another as needed — and collaborate across Hospitality, Facilities, Office Services, vendors, other departments, practice groups and other offices to ensure needs are met, best practices are implemented and office operations run seamlessly.
This is a full-time exempt position and requires 100% onsite presence in our New York office. The role also requires schedule flexibility, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends to support events, and the ability to cover opening (8:00 a.m.) and closing (7:00 p.m.) catering and reception shifts to ensure continuity of operations during PTO or illness coverage.
To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies to perform the essential functions of this position:
Reporting to the New York Office Administrator, the qualified candidate will have a minimum of three years of progressive leadership experience in hospitality, catering, food service, conference services, hotel operations, or a related service-driven environment, including experience building and developing service-oriented teams. Demonstrated track record of improving service levels, streamlining operations, and creating scalable processes and procedures that support future team growth required. Previous experience in a law firm, professional services, workplace experience, hospitality, conference services, hotel operations, or similar service-driven environment strongly preferred. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
The anticipated range for this position is:
$84,000 - $120,000
