Searcys are looking for Hospitality Assistant to join the team at the Royal College of Surgeons. As a Hospitality Assistant, you will be responsible for providing service excellences to our customers, guests and clients on events, conferences and Weddings.

The View is a stunning venue located at the heart of The Royal College of Surgeons of England, founded in 1800 by Royal Charter and serves as the professional home of surgery in both England and worldwide.

The View is open for hire to host various events such as meetings, conferences and weddings. It boasts spectacular views of London and includes a spacious outdoor terrace for guests to enjoy during the summer season.

Job Description

The Hospitality assistant will be supporting and monitoring and serving all food and drinks to customers/clients/guest and clearing throughout the event.

Job Type: Full Time / Part time

Salary: £14.80 hourly

Responsibilities:

• Ensuring that there is clean furniture, dining tables and chairs available for the guests and ensuring presentation is at the forefront of everything you do.
• Clean and polish all cutlery and glasses/crockery for the next event
• Prepare all hospitality food and beverage requests offered to customers/clients/guest in designated meeting spaces in a presentable manner.
• To be able to work without supervision and take initiative over duties and tasks without being directed.
• To serve our guests with a genuine and positive demeanour. All service should be efficient and of the highest quality.
• To work on licenced bars serving alcoholic beverages
• To be able to use coffee machines
• Assist with the ordering and deliveries as required
• Preparation of all hospitality requirements ensuring all items are available and if not reporting this to your line manager
• Ensuring that any linen hired, and equipment hired for an event is counted and packed away for collection after the event.
