The Opportunity
As the Hospitality & Activation Officer, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional customer experiences while driving increased awareness and use of the Hub. This is a dynamic, hands-on role where you’ll lead hospitality-focused bookings and events, build strong relationships with community and stakeholders, and support activation initiatives that connect people to the space.
You’ll work closely with internal teams and external partners to ensure the Hub is welcoming, inclusive and professionally presented, while contributing to its ongoing growth and success.

Skills & Experience
The ideal candidate will bring tertiary qualifications in a hospitality-related field along with demonstrated experience in hospitality, venue operations and/or event coordination. You will have extensive experience delivering high-quality customer service in diverse community settings, with a proven ability to foster a customer-first culture, including training and supporting staff. Your background will include experience working with marketing and communications initiatives, as well as collaborating with internal teams to promote services and drive engagement. You will possess strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships, negotiate and engage effectively with a wide range of stakeholders. Experience supervising staff, volunteers or contractors, along with sound organisational, administrative and digital skills, will be essential. A food handling certificate is desirable.
