Full-time Hospitalist Nurse Practitioner needed for an inpatient behavioral health center. This is a
full-time employed position. Deliver comprehensive medical care for patients
ages 5 and older. Work closely with an interdisciplinary mental health team to
ensure high-quality patient outcomes.

Details:

• 
  7 days on w/7
  days off block schedule; 10-hour shifts
• 
  Complete initial
  medical evaluations & H&Ps w/in 24-hrs of admission
• 
  Provide
  follow-ups, diagnostics & discharge planning
• 
  Collaborate with
  psychiatrists, psychologists, therapists & support staff
• 
  Educate patients
  and families on medical conditions, medications & lifestyle changes
•

What
We’re Looking For:

• 
  Active
  Alaska NP/APRN license or ability to obtain
• 
  Graduate
  of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
• 
  AANPCB
  Board Certification
• 
  Minimum
  1 yr inpatient or acute care exp preferred (behavioral health a plus)
• 
  Strong
  communication, collaboration & patient-first approach
