MSS Security is seeking experienced Security Officers to work across multiple areas of a hospital, including patrols, the control room, and high-risk wards. These roles operate on a 24/7 rotating roster, requiring availability across all shifts. Prior experience working in a hospital setting is required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Patrol and monitor hospital premises to detect and respond to any security risks.
• Monitor security systems and respond to incidents and emergencies promptly.
• Manage access control and identification verification for all hospital areas.
• Collaborate with medical staff and law enforcement when necessary.
• Assist in resolving patient or visitor disputes in a calm and professional manner.
• Provide excellent customer service to staff, patients, and visitors.

Requirements:

• Full Australian Working Rights
• Victorian Security License (Control Room Endorsement is advantageous)
• Certificate II in Security Operations / Cert III in Security Operations desirable
• First Aid & CPR
• Employee Working with Children’s Check or willingness to obtain
• Availability to work a 24*7 rotating roster
• Up-to-date vaccinations including COVID-19, Hepatitis B, Varicella, Measles (2 doses), and Pertussis booster within the last 10 years
• Willing to undergo a National Police Check and medical clearance
• Prior experience working in a hospital setting is required.
