Our ISS Health Team is growing, and we are currently seeking part time and casual Hospital Cleaners to join our team at Victorian Comprehensive Cancer Centre (VCCC), Melbourne CBD.

We are looking for individuals who are able to work Monday to Friday 6pm - 1:30am, and weekends 11am-6:30pm.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safe handling of chemical and/or hazardous substances in the performance of cleaning duties
• Decontamination of surfaces after the initial clinical waste spillage has been removed by clinical staff
• Identifying and recording any problems relating to cleaning services and/or safety
• Provide cleaning services in both patient and non-patient areas, adhering to infection control procedures, conducting waste removal, and undertaking infectious cleaning in designated areas

About you:

• Demonstrate a positive attitude and drive to deliver strong customer service
• Ability to work proposed shifts
• Police Clearance, or ability to obtain, is essential
• Working with Children's Check, or ability to obtain, is essential
• Evidence of immunisation for Influenza, or willingness to obtain, as per VIC Health Worker policy is essential
