🍽️ We're Hiring: Hospital Cleaners

📍 Location: Greater Melbourne area

Our ISS Health Team is growing and we are currently seeking people to join us in the position of Cleaner, with opportunities available at the following hospitals:

Northern Melbourne:

The Northern – Epping, Broadmeadows Health Services – Broadmeadows, Bundoora Extended Care – Bundoora and Craigieburn Health Services – Craigieburn.

Eastern Melbourne:

The Box Hill Hospital - Box Hill, Peter James Centre – Burwood, Wantirna Health – Wantirna, The Angliss Hospital - Upper Fern Tree Gully and Knox Private Hospital - Wantirna

Melbourne CBD:

Victorian Comprehensive Cancer Centre - Melbourne CBD, Royal Dental – Carlton and The Royal Women's Hospital – Parkville

Casual, Part-time and Full Time opportunities are available.

Cleaning positions:

• Cleaners provide services to all departments, wards and public areas
• Safe handling of chemical and/or hazardous substances in the performance of cleaning duties
• Identifying and recording any problems relating to cleaning services and/or safety
• Decontamination of surfaces after the initial clinical waste spillage has been removed by clinical staff
• Communicate effectively with hospital staff, patients and your supervisor

Minimum Criteria:

• Flexibility to work various shifts; including early mornings, night shifts, weekends and public holidays (particularly for Casual opportunities).
• Demonstrate a positive attitude and drive to deliver strong customer service
• Current Police Clearance no older than 12 months is essential
• Victorian Working with Children Check (employment, not volunteer) is essential

Additional Criteria for some sites:

• COVID 19 Vaccination Certificate outlining Full vaccination (3 shots)
• Flu Vaccination
