About the role:

Our ISS Health Team is growing and we are currently seeking a Healthcare Chef to join us in a permanent Full-Time position on site at Modbury Hospital (Modbury).

Key Responsibilities:

• Complete meal preparation to the highest standards, ensuring a high level of food safety and quality.
• Produce meals in line with recipes and dietary plans.
• Ensure food is stored and handled as per food health safety and hygiene requirements.
• Interact positively with our client to ensure high levels of customer service.
• Contribute to the health and safety culture by following WHS standards.

About you:

• Australian Trade Certification or Cert III in Commercial Cookery is essential.
• Allrounder experience across pastries, crib, mains, breakfast and grab and go options.
• Demonstrate a positive attitude and drive to deliver strong customer service.
• High volume catering, including bulk catering and function/banquet experience.
• Ability to pass full pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol testing.
• Flexibility to work a rotational roster; including early mornings, night shifts, weekends and public holidays.
• Ability or willingness to provide evidence of immunisation for Hepatitis B, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Tetanus, Pertussis, Diptheria, and Polio, as per SA Health worker requirements is essential.
• Current Police Clearance, or ability to obtain, is essential.
• Current DHS Working with Children Check (WWCC), or ability to obtain, is essential.
