Job Description

Providence Hospice and Palliative Care is a growing division of Providence Life Services, which provides a continuum of healthcare, focused on senior living. Providence Hospice is seeking a Hospice Registered Nurse (RN), PRN in Homer Glen, IL and surrounding suburbsWe are looking for a compassionate RN to join our established, experienced hospice team. We provide exceptional patient centered care to patients and families facing end of life.

Schedule Available: M-F PRN with evening on call and Weekend Availability Required. Mileage Reimbursement is included at $ .725/mile.

Pay is based on type of visit and on weekday or weekend or holiday. Pay: $60 - $95/visit on weekday, weekend and/or holiday and type of visit. Hourly for this position for training and attending meetings is $35/hour.

of essential job functions:

  • Provide skilled nursing care.
  • Provide case management services.
  • Conduct initial assessments of new patients.
  • Travel to patients wherever they reside: Home, nursing facility etc.
  • Participate in an on-call schedule.

Requirements

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) License in the state of Illinois.
  • At least 1 year of RN experience, preferably in Hospice or Home Health.
  • Drivers License in good standing.
