By The Bay Health, a non-profit established in 1975, set the standard for hospice in the U.S. by emphasizing the role of the patient in making important medical decisions. Our spectrum of home-based services now includes Skilled Home Health Care, Palliative Care, Adult Hospice Care and Pediatric Care. We are seeking a part-time, remote, Hospice Physician to join our physician team
Location: Fully Remote with no routine in-person visits required (California Licensed Physician Required)
Schedule: 2.5 weekdays per week (Tuesdays and Thursdays, plus Wednesday mornings), plus on-call 1 weekend (day and night) approximately every 5–6 weeks
Position Type: Part-Time (more hours available if interested), contracted
The Hospice Physician is compassionate and collaborative in providing exceptional end-of-life care throughout SF, Sonoma and Marin Counties. This is a fully remote position with a flexible weekday schedule, making it an excellent opportunity for physicians seeking meaningful clinical work with work-life balance. The Physician is responsible for overall medical activities of patient care services and related medical administrative components. As a Hospice Physician, you will partner closely with the team to provide expert symptom management, determine hospice eligibility, and support patients and families during serious illness.
Hourly rate: $145 - $150 per hour (plus up to $400 per night during on-call rotation)
