Job Description

Queen City Hospice is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Market Manager to lead our business development efforts and expand awareness of our patient-centered hospice services throughout the community. This leadership role is ideal for an experienced healthcare sales professional who is passionate about hospice care, excels at developing referral relationships, and has a proven track record of driving growth through effective sales leadership.

The Market Manager is responsible for leading, coaching, and developing a team of Hospice Representatives while managing key referral relationships and strategic accounts. This individual will drive census growth by identifying new business opportunities, strengthening existing partnerships, and executing market development strategies. The Market Manager will provide ongoing coaching focused on sales processes, consultative selling techniques, and professional development to ensure individual and team success.

In addition, this role will partner with sales leadership to develop and implement sales initiatives, support organizational growth objectives, and serve as a hospice ambassador within the healthcare community. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of hospice services, industry trends, and the Medicare Hospice Benefit while fostering positive relationships with referral sources, healthcare providers, patients, and families.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business or related field
  • Minimum of three to five years of professional sales experience; experience in the hospice and health care industry preferred
  • Outside sales experience preferred
  • Proven, consistent and measurable track record of success in finding, signing and growing business
  • Ability to market effectively with customers, referral sources, and the community.
  • Strong communication skills and interpersonal skills
  • Valid driver’s license and proof of insurance is required

Preferred Experience

  • Hospice Marketing Leadership experience strongly preferred.
  • Experience managing, coaching, and developing hospice sales teams.
  • Demonstrated success leading market expansion initiatives and driving census growth within hospice organizations.
  • Deep understanding of hospice operations, referral development, and healthcare sales strategy.
