Pay: $24.00 – $36.00 per hour

Job Type: Part Time, Per Diem

Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate Hospice Chaplain to provide spiritual and emotional support to hospice patients and their families/caregivers. This role partners with the interdisciplinary team to provide individualized, respectful end-of-life spiritual care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Complete spiritual assessments and provide direct spiritual care.
  • Support patients and families through end-of-life, grief, and bereavement needs.
  • Participate in individualized care planning and interdisciplinary team meetings.
  • Coordinate with community clergy, spiritual counselors, and volunteers.
  • Provide inclusive, interfaith spiritual support that respects diverse beliefs and cultures.
  • Document visits, services, and patient/family communication.
  • Assist with memorial or funeral services as requested.

Qualifications

  • BD, MDiv, or equivalent theological degree preferred.
  • Experience supporting individuals and families with death, dying, or grief.
  • Hospice or end-of-life care experience preferred.
  • Comfortable working in interfaith and culturally diverse settings.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Valid driver's license, reliable vehicle, and required auto insurance.
