We’re hiring a Mobile Hydraulic Hose Technician to join our growing Staten Island team. If you like hands-on work, problem-solving, and being trusted to get the job done, this could be a great fit.

What You’ll Do

• Drive a fully outfitted PIRTEK mobile service van
  
  
• Respond to on-site breakdowns across Staten Island and NYC
  
  
• Diagnose, replace, and install hydraulic and industrial hoses
  
  
• Work on:
  
  
  • Marine equipment, tugboats, and shipyards
    
    
  • Construction equipment
    
    
  • Industrial machinery
    
    
  • Machine servicing and cylinder repair
    
    
• Communicate clearly with customers about the issue and solution
  
  
• Maintain your truck, tools, and paperwork
  
  
• Participate in the on-call rotation (paid extra)
  
  

Who We’re Looking For

• Mechanically inclined (equipment, vehicles, boats, machinery, etc.)
  
  
• Strong communication skills — customers and teammates
  
  
• Follows processes and safety procedures
  
  
• Respectful, professional, and dependable
  
  
• Can stay calm when equipment is down and pressure is on
  
  
• Comfortable working outdoors, around grease, dirt, and tight spaces
  
  
• Valid driver’s license
  
  
• Able to pass background and drug screening
  
  

No hose experience required.
We provide hands-on training and 24/7 technical support.

Training & Growth

• 4–6 weeks of structured training
  
  
• Run your own service calls after training
  
  
• Ongoing skill development and specialized repair knowledge
  
  
• Opportunity to advance to Lead Technician in 12–24 months
  
  

Pay & Benefits

• $25–$35/hour (most techs start $25–$30 based on experience)

Compensation: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
