Salary and perks: $17.41p/h + Super (1st year Junior apprentice rates)

So, what duties can you expect to do in your apprenticeship?

• Gain hands-on experience maintaining commercial gardens and landscapes.
• Work alongside experienced horticulture and landscape professionals.
• Learn planting, pruning, mulching, and weed control techniques.
• Assist with turf, irrigation, and drainage maintenance.
• Develop plant identification and plant care knowledge.
• Safely use horticultural tools, equipment, and machinery.
• Learn safe herbicide and pesticide application practices.
• Complete a Certificate III in Parks and Gardens while earning on the job.

What will you need?

• Driver's licence and own transport. Or ability to get to site.
• National Police Check
• Working with Children Check
