Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Hootsuite Implementation Manager to own the client relationship and oversee delivery of new client implementations. This role combines client-facing consultancy, project management, and quality oversight, working closely with Implementation Specialists who deliver the hands-on configuration.

You will be responsible for ensuring implementations are delivered on time, to scope, and with a high-quality client experience.

What you will do

Client Management & Discovery

    • Act as the primary point of contact for new implementation clients
    • Lead requirements review meetings to confirm client needs, objectives, and scope
    • Translate business requirements into clear delivery briefs for implementation specialists

Project Management

    • Own the end-to-end implementation plan, timelines, and milestones
    • Coordinate and oversee one or more Implementation Specialists
    • Manage risks, scope control, and client expectations
    • Ensure implementations are delivered on time and to agreed standards

Oversight & Quality Assurance

    • Review and sign off on query builds, channel setups, dashboards, and reports
    • Ensure consistency and best practice across all client implementations

Training & Enablement

    • Deliver or coordinate client training, including webinar-style training and tailored 1:1 training sessions
    • Ensure clients are confident and ready for handover post-implementation.

Requirements

  • Fluent, professional-level English (written and spoken)
  • Proven experience configuring and working in Hootsuite
  • Strong experience delivering Hootsuite implementations in a client-facing role
  • Proven project management experience
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple implementations and delivery resources concurrently
  • Comfortable overseeing technical delivery without necessarily doing all configuration yourself
  • Hootsuite certification(s)
  • Experience managing delivery teams or freelancers
  • Familiarity with implementation frameworks, SLAs, and onboarding playbooks
