POSITION: Honey Pot Events Coordinator

LOCATION: Adelaide Fringe and FringeWORKS

REPORTS TO: Marketplace Manager

EMPLOYMENT: Contract – Nov 2026- Mar 2027

POSITION SUMMARY

The Honey Pot Events Coordinator will provide support and delivery of a number of key marketplace activities that support the pitching and networking between artists and industry participants and effectively liaises with external stakeholders that include venues, production and technicians. Working with the Marketplace Manager and the Industry Coordinator they will coordinate the delivery of projects that include: Honey Pot Spotlights, HIVE’s, Industry FringeWORK’s session and Industry match made show lists – curated to drive touring outcomes, industry collaborations and foster new sector relationships to support the vision of empowering artists, venues and programmers to flourish in the creative industries locally, nationally and globally.

This role will be pivotal in the effective production of in season events and would suit a person with knowledge and confidence to operate in Theatre environments and conference centres and spaces with experience with QLAB. This role requires the employee to be personable, provide excellent customer service to the broad range of Adelaide Fringe stakeholders, efficient in administrative tasks and hold a professional manner over emails and phone calls.

ESSENTIAL / DESIRABLE CRITERIA

Education & Experience

• Good knowledge of Adelaide Fringe – who we are and what we do. Understanding types and differences in Artist’s works presented in Fringe.
• Demonstrated experience in event co-ordination – Theatre production and QLab, and delegate logistics within a conference or marketplace setting. (desirable)
• Previous experience working in a Performing Arts environment is preferable.
• Familiarity and knowledge of other major events, festivals and venues that relate to the programming of arts.
• An understanding of national / international performing arts touring circuits and festival programming.
• Have a C class drivers’ licence

• Good written and oral communication skills.
• Computer literacy in word processing, spreadsheets, scheduling, database and internet/email software, and the ability to create, update and maintain efficient and effective records management systems.

• Collaborative working style with the ability to work with a team and in a hands-on capacity.
• Comfortable with occasional public speaking and direction of participants in public spaces.
