Job Description

Join Our Team at Family Services of Central MA as a Homemaker!

Pay: $20.00 Hour

We are seeking compassionate, reliable, and dedicated individuals to assist individuals and families with essential household tasks in a supportive and respectful environment. As a Homemaker, you will help individuals live comfortably and independently by providing a variety of services under the direction of a field supervisor.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with shopping, menu planning, and meal preparation
  • Perform light housekeeping duties such as vacuuming, dusting, and mopping
  • Clean the kitchen, bathroom, and change beds
  • Handle laundry and dishwashing
  • Pick up prescriptions and run essential errands

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Valid drivers' license and reliable transportation for frequent travel
  • Completion of Homemaker Orientation training (3 hours) upon hire
  • Completion of 37-hour Homemaker training program within 6 months
  • Ongoing state-required staff development training (6 hours per year)
