
Position Type: Homebound Site Facilitator/Teacher, Grades 7-12, Supplemental/Extra Duty Position, As Needed
Location: Hannan Junior Senior High School

Employment Term: Instruction term for students
Qualifications: Valid West Virginia teaching license and certification corresponding to grades 7 through 12.
Supplemental Pay: $50.00 per hour not to exceed 6 hours per week.
Effective: 2026-2027 School Year
Coordinate, monitor, and provide group homebound instruction for students in grades 7-12.
Performance Responsibilities:
• To act as the liaison between the school general and special education teachers and the director overseeing homebound services.
• To determine the school-level group homebound schedule.
• To instruct, monitor, and assist students in the program of study on the assigned learning management system to ensure that the students meet the learning objectives and standards for the appropriate grade level.
• To request additional homebound teachers based upon enrollment and student needs. Homebound groups will be capped at 8 students.
• To collect, obtain appropriate signatures, and submit homebound payroll forms to the payroll office, within the timeline set by the payroll office.
• To maintain a record of attendance, grades, samples of student work, parent notes/communication, and teacher communications for all students receiving homebound instruction.
• To submit attendance on a weekly basis in WVEIS.
• To submit grades on a weekly basis in WVEIS.
• To ensure that confidentiality procedures are not comprised.
• To attend a minimum of two training sessions annually.
