POSITION TITLE: Homebound Tutors
REPORTS TO: Coordinator I - Special Education

QUALIFICATIONS:
Required Experience or Training
Valid Professional Educators Teaching License with endorsements in: English, Mathematics, LBSI, Science and/or Social Studies
Desired Experience or Training
Previous Homebound Tutoring experience

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Teach prescribed academic coursework.
2. Collaborate with colleagues regarding student assignments.
3. Travel to students' homes.
4. Coordinate and collaborate with students and parents to schedule sessions
5. Maintain accurate records
6. Work 2-3 nights after school, approximately 2-3 hours per night
7. Other duties as assigned.
8. Ability to coordinate student assignments during time of absence.
9. Ability to communicate with student's teachers about progress and/or assignment completion.
10. Ability to communicate with home to schedule hours of tutoring.
11. Progress monitor students work.
