MECA Therapies, LLC is seeking compassionate and dedicated Home Visiting Service Providers (Parent Educators) to support pregnant individuals, infants, young children, and their families through evidence-based home visiting services. Our Home Visiting Program promotes healthy child development, strengthens parent-child relationships, and empowers families by providing education, resources, and individualized support in their home and community environments.

The Home Visiting Service Provider delivers family-centered home visiting services that promote healthy pregnancies, positive parenting, school readiness, and child development. Working collaboratively with families, community partners, and interdisciplinary teams, this position develops individualized family goals, conducts developmental and safety screenings, provides parent education, and connects families with community resources while maintaining compliance with state, federal, and organizational requirements.

Qualifications

Required

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and current auto insurance.
  • Ability to travel throughout the assigned service area.
  • Strong organizational, documentation, and time management skills.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office and electronic documentation systems.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA requirements.

Preferred

  • Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Social Work, Psychology, Human Development, Family Studies, Education, Public Health, or a related field.
  • Experience working with infants, young children, and families.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
  • Infant Mental Health (IMH) Endorsement or willingness to obtain certification within two (2) years of hire.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Conduct prenatal, postpartum, and ongoing home visits using evidence-based home visiting practices.
  • Identify and enroll eligible pregnant individuals and families into the Home Visiting Program.
  • Complete screenings, assessments, and family-centered service planning.
  • Develop measurable family goals that promote child development, school readiness, and family well-being.
  • Promote safe, nurturing parent-child relationships and positive parenting practices.
  • Provide developmental guidance, parenting education, and family support.
  • Conduct developmental, health, safety, and family screenings.
  • Connect families with community resources and referral services.
  • Support families in preventing adverse childhood experiences and strengthening protective factors.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and collaborate with community providers when appropriate.
  • Maintain accurate, timely, and complete documentation in accordance with ECECD, HIPAA, and MECA requirements.
  • Maintain organized and compliant family records.
  • Participate in reflective supervision, case consultation, and ongoing professional development.
  • Assist with community outreach, education, and program promotion.

Caseload & Productivity Expectations

  • Manage an assigned caseload of approximately 15–28 families, based on program needs and visit intensity.
  • Complete monthly home visits with each assigned family, generally lasting a minimum of 90 minutes, in accordance with program requirements.
  • Meet established productivity and documentation standards while maintaining quality family-centered services.

Documentation & Compliance

  • Complete required documentation accurately and within established timelines.
  • Enter visit documentation into the required electronic data management system within 24 hours of each visit.
  • Maintain complete, accurate, and compliant family records.
  • Participate in routine quality assurance activities and file audits.

Professional Development

  • Complete all required ECECD, MECA, and program-specific training.
  • Obtain Infant Mental Health Certification within two (2) years of hire, if not already certified.
  • Participate in reflective supervision, staff meetings, and continuing education activities.
  • Maintain all required certifications and professional credentials.
