What The Position is About:

• Lead and grow the show and events department
• Hire, train, and manage event marketing staff (looking to double the size of the current team)
• Manage, plan, and organize all aspects of events
• Continuous in the field training with event marketing staff, providing coaching, instruction, and holding the team accountable
• Research events and venues within the territory to build a pipeline of opportunities
• Oversee all logistics to include staff scheduling, setup and teardown, goal setting, and post-event analysis
• Track performance and continuously optimize event outcomes
• Develop and implement event marketing strategies aligned with the company’s goals and objectives
• Collaborate closely with vendors and service providers to guarantee a positive experience for all parties involved
• Oversee all operations and ensure that events run smoothly, including troubleshooting any problems that arise

The Right Candidate Will Have:

• Show and event management experience within the home improvement/services industry
• Experience recruiting, hiring, training, and growing an event marketing team
• The ability to build a pipeline of event opportunities
