The Product Manager is responsible for leading a team of individual contributors todefine the IPH / CISSPA, MEMs and FCIproductrequirements thataligntothe customers’needs andtomeet business goals.The role manages multiple projects, qualifications, quality issues by applying advanced subject matter knowledge and ensures resource allocation, schedules and costs align with goals and organizational roadmaps.The role builds and maintains relationships with internal and external stakeholders, drives product, process and material improvement initiatives, quality issues and champion operational excellence in product quality and manufacturing.
Responsibilities
Provides direct and ongoing leadership for a team of individual contributors, designing engineering tests, solutions and coordinating projects for the manufacturing of IPH/CISS products, Printhead and Pen assemblies.
Manages headcount, deliverables, schedules and costs of multiple ongoing projects, ensuring that resources are appropriately allocated; access and mitigate risks
Ensures goals, objectives, timelines, and budgets are met in accordance with program and organizational roadmaps; submit proposals for realignment of goals and budget if needed Track product performance using KPIs and analytics
Manage timely delivery of product launches, AOS changes to meet business goals
Manages relationships with partners and suppliers, including setting expectations regarding deliverables, product quality, schedules, and costs.
Identifies and drive opportunities for product, process improvement and cost reductions opportunities, and recommends changes in alignment with business tactics and strategy.
Identifies and drive improvements for quality issueson time to detect, contain, resolve and closure. Comprehend root cause to drive prevention of repeat incidents.
Champions engineering and operational excellence in manufacturing processes, establishing metrics and process for regular assessment and improvement.
Partner Customer Assurance / SIE to understand customer feedback to drive product improvement
Implements planswith regard tooptimizing factory and product line performance, including performance optimization, capacity expansion, new line ramp into full production, etc.
Performs talent management responsibilities including recruitment, performance management, guiding, coaching and career development.
Ensures that proper knowledge and career development tools are in place to support ongoing team member and process development.
Education & Experience Recommended
Bachelor’s,Master’s degree in ElectricalElectronics, Mechanical, Material Science and Chemical EngineeringStrong people managing and collaboration skills with the ability to lead diverse team
Strong Quality mindset,analytical, problem solving, decision-making skills.
Strong Leadership quality and communication skills, able to collaborate, lead and communicate across geographies, levels and functions
Good understanding of TIJ technologies, processesandexcellent subject matter knowledge and understanding in Product performance and functionality
Good understand of design of experiment, design of test plan, product reliability, characterization
Good understanding of Industrial 4.05.0
Advantageous with experience in AI application to product and manufacturing
Knowledge of ISO9K, ISO 14K/18K/ 45K/ 50K, Lean Sigma and chemical management will be advantageous.
