Job Description

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Meet with potential borrowers to understand their financial goals and homeownership aspirations.
  • Maintain knowledge of various mortgage products. Educate clients about the features, benefits and terms related to the mortgage options.
  • Assists clients with the mortgage application process and collection of necessary documentation.
  • Analyze client credit reports, financial statements and debt-to-income ratios to determine mortgage pre-qualification.
  • Maintain strong client relationships to ensure long-term business growth and referrals. Network with real estate agents, builders and other industry professionals to generate leads.
  • Provide positive customer experiences by addressing all questions and concerns related to the mortgage application and approval process.
  • Maintains knowledge of all lending regulations to ensure regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

Required Skills:

  • Strong technical experience with origination systems.
  • Strong knowledge of mortgage programs and products.
  • Strong communication skills both verbal and written.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Ability to assess clients' financial situations through financial analysis.
  • Knowledge of lending regulations.

Required Experience:

  • High School diploma or GED and minimum of 2 years of mortgage origination experience.
  • Valid Driver's License, Mortgage Loan Originator license approved by the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS).

Preferred Experience:

  • Bachelors degree in finance, business administration or a related field.

Expected Work Hours

Monday-Friday 8am-5pm
