As a PRN Speech-Language Pathologist, you’ll have the flexibility to build your own schedule while making a meaningful impact with patients across the Lakeshore community. Evaluate patients and develop individualized speech therapy plans of care
Perform initial and ongoing assessments in accordance with OASIS guidelines
Provide speech-language therapy services in the home setting
Educate patients and caregivers on communication, swallowing, and cognitive strategies
Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members
Adjust care plans and request physician orders as needed
Ensure timely, accurate clinical documentation
Independence in the field with strong team support
A variety of patient needs and home environments

Travel within the Lakeshore coverage area

Master’s degree from an accredited educational program in Language Pathology
Current, unrestricted SLP license in the state of work
Minimum one (1) year of experience as a SLP in a clinical care setting
Able and willing to travel within branch/office coverage area.
Ability to frequently lift, push, pull, and support up to 50 pounds, including positioning or transferring patients and moving equipment
Must have a dependable vehicle, valid driver’s license, and current auto insurance in accordance with state laws.
Must be able and willing to travel 50%
