As a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant with Home Health Care, Inc. , you'll help patients rebuild more than function. Working from the supervising Occupational Therapist's plan of care, you'll help patients practice the skills they need in the exact environment where they'll use them. What You'll Do Provide one-on-one Occupational Therapy treatments in patients' homes Carry out treatment plans established by the supervising OT Address dressing, bathing, grooming, meal preparation, and other ADLs Improve upper-extremity strength, coordination, and functional use Provide therapeutic activities and exercises Reinforce home exercise programs Teach adaptive and compensatory strategies Educate patients and caregivers Reinforce appropriate use of adaptive equipment Monitor progress and communicate changes to the supervising OT Collaborate with PT, nursing, SLP, physicians, and interdisciplinary clinicians Complete timely and accurate documentation Build a Career Around Work That Feels Personal Home health gives you an opportunity to develop relationships with patients while watching their abilities change over time. Experience in skilled nursing, TCU, inpatient rehabilitation, outpatient therapy, assisted living, neurological rehabilitation, or other Occupational Therapy environments can translate well. We're looking for: Active Minnesota Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license Strong understanding of ADLs and functional rehabilitation Excellent patient and caregiver communication Ability to work independently and manage a field-based schedule Strong collaboration with supervising Occupational Therapists Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Why Home Health Care, Inc.?
