Home Health Aide (HHA) – Private Duty Cases

Monroe Township, NJ 08831 (and surrounding Middlesex County areas)

$19/hour starting pay

Affirmed Home Care is hiring Certified Home Health Aides (HHAs) for immediate private duty cases in Monroe Township and surrounding Middlesex County communities. This position offers consistent one-on-one care assignments, stable weekly hours, and flexible scheduling options.

Available Shifts

We offer 8–12 hour shifts, including day, evening, and overnight options depending on case availability. Both full-time and part-time assignments are available.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care including bathing, grooming, and dressing
• Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) and medication reminders (as permitted by care plan)
• Light housekeeping and meal preparation
• Provide companionship and emotional support
• Ensure client safety, comfort, and well-being
• Assist with client transportation when required as part of the care plan (using the client’s vehicle)

Requirements

• Active New Jersey Home Health Aide (HHA) certification
• 1 year of experience preferred (newly certified HHAs encouraged to apply)
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required
• Willingness to assist with client transportation as part of the care plan
• Current physical examination
• TB test (PPD/QuantiFERON) or chest X-ray as required
