Home Health Aide (HHA) – Certified & Non-Certified Weekday On-Call Opportunity | Mileage Reimbursement | Flexible Scheduling

Our Home Health team in Central Ohio is growing, and we're seeking compassionate Home Health Aides who are interested in providing both direct client care and after-hours support during weekday on-call coverage.

What You'll Do

As a Home Health Aide, you will:

  • Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and mobility
  • Prepare meals and assist with feeding as needed
  • Provide companionship and emotional support
  • Perform light housekeeping, laundry, and errands
  • Observe and report changes in condition
  • Take vital signs when ordered
  • Complete documentation accurately and on time
  • Help maintain a clean and safe home environment

Weekday On-Call Responsibilities

During assigned on-call rotations (Monday through Thursday, 5:00 PM-7:00 AM), you will:

  • Serve as the primary after-hours contact for caregivers needing scheduling assistance or reporting call-offs
  • Answer and respond promptly to on-call phone calls, texts, and urgent staffing needs
  • Coordinate coverage for open visits by contacting available staff
  • Work closely with the Manager on Duty regarding scheduling concerns or urgent client needs
  • Help ensure uninterrupted client services through effective communication and problem-solving
  • Provide client coverage when necessary and appropriate if alternate staffing cannot be secured

What We're Looking For

  • Certified or non-certified HHAs welcome
  • Compassionate, dependable, and able to work independently
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to client homes
  • Ability to remain responsive during assigned on-call hours
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Ability to meet the physical demands of the role
