About the Role:

ComForCare Home Health Care - Slidell is looking for a compassionate and dedicated Home Health Aide to join our growing team in Covington, LA. In this rewarding role, you'll make a real difference in the lives of clients by providing personalized, in-home care that promotes independence and dignity. If you have a heart for helping others, we'd love to have you on board!

Responsibilities:

• Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients and their families
• Help with light housekeeping, laundry, and meal preparation
• Monitor and report changes in client health, behavior, or condition to supervisors
• Assist with mobility, transfers, and ambulation as needed
• Accompany clients to medical appointments or errands as required
• Maintain accurate care logs and documentation in compliance with care plans

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Home Health Aide, Caregiver, or CNA preferred
• Valid HHA certification or willingness to obtain one
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
• Compassionate, patient, and dependable demeanor
• Ability to perform light physical tasks including lifting and assisting with mobility

Compensation: $12.00 - $15.00 per hour
