About the Role:
Join ComForCare Home Health Care in Slidell as a Home Health Aide, where you will play a vital role in providing compassionate care to our clients. If you are passionate about making a difference in the lives of others, this is the perfect opportunity for you!


Responsibilities:
  • Assist clients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, and meal preparation.
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance the quality of life for clients.
  • Monitor and report changes in clients' health status to the healthcare team.
  • Help with mobility and transportation to appointments or social activities.
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients.
  • Document care provided and maintain accurate client records.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, families, and team members.
  • Adhere to all safety and health regulations while providing care.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; certification as a Home Health Aide preferred.
  • Previous experience in home care or healthcare settings is a plus.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Compassionate and patient demeanor with a commitment to client care.
  • Reliable transportation and valid driver's license.
  • Willingness to undergo background checks and training as required.
