Country Home Services, a not-for-profit organisation, has been delivering person centred home care services for over 35 years across the Yorke Peninsula, Clare Valley, Barossa Valley, Adelaide Plains, and the Mid and Lower North.

As a Home Care Worker, you’ll use your unique skills to ensure that every older person receiving care from CHS feels supported and valued. Together, we can make a meaningful difference!

What you'll do

We are seeking enthusiastic and caring individuals to join our team. You will listen to stories, build relationships with our aged care Clients and their families, and support Clients to continue living their best life. You will provide varied supports to our clients whilst ensuring their comfort and dignity is always maintained, especially in making sure the clients understand their options and that they feel involved in decision-making.

We are looking for Home Care Workers who can offer the following services

• Domestic Assistance (DA) Keep homes happy with cleaning, laundry, meal prep and light gardening

• Social Support (SS) Offer companionship and spark connection through conversation and activities. Drive independence by providing transport to assist clients with shopping, appointments and outings

• Personal Care (PC) Provide person centred care and help clients feel their best with support in personal care, mobility, meals and more. These roles require compassion, patience, and a minimum Certificate III in Individual Support

What you'll bring

• Demonstrated understanding of the physical, emotional and social needs of older people

• Excellent interpersonal skills that enable you to build meaningful relationships with customers and colleagues

• First Aid Certificate and CPR if your service includes Personal Care supports

• Aged Care or NDIS National Police Clearance

• Certificate III in either Aged Care or Individual Support (Ageing) is required for Personal Care Supports

• Access to a smartphone and basic IT skills to use our client-focused and payroll apps

The Royal Children's Hospital (RCH) has been providing outstanding care for Victoria's children and their families for over 147 years.

We are the major specialist paediatric hospital in Victoria and our care extends to children from Tasmania, southern New South Wales and other states around Australia and overseas.

With a passionate, highly skilled and committed staff campus wide of over 5,000, we provide a full range of clinical services, tertiary care and health promotion and prevention programs for children and young people.

We are the designated state-wide major trauma centre for paediatrics in Victoria and a Nationally Funded Centre for cardiac and liver transplantation.
