Supervisor – CHO6
Six-Month Maternity Cover
Right at Home is seeking an experienced Supervisor to join our team on a six-month maternity-cover contract, supporting the delivery of high-quality home care services across the CHO6 area.
This is a hands-on role for someone with strong experience in home care, health or social care who enjoys supporting care teams, maintaining high standards and building strong relationships with clients, families and colleagues.

- €34,000 - €36,000 DOE per annum, pro rata for the six-month contract

The Role
As Supervisor, you will play an important role in ensuring clients receive safe, consistent and high-quality care while supporting our care staff in the community.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting the day-to-day delivery of care services across CHO6
- Providing ongoing support, guidance and mentoring to carers
- Completing client assessments and care reviews
- Carrying out carer spot checks and competency reviews
- Completing risk assessments and supporting the development of appropriate care plans
- Monitoring the quality and consistency of care being delivered
- Supporting carers with performance, training and development needs
- Building positive relationships with clients, families and care staff
- Identifying and escalating safeguarding, quality or service concerns appropriately
- Maintaining accurate records and documentation
- Working closely with the office, coordination, quality and operations teams
- Supporting compliance with HSE requirements, company policies and relevant regulatory standards
- Travelling throughout the CHO6 area to meet clients and care staff as required
What We’re Looking For
The ideal candidate will have:
- 3–5 years’ experience within home care, healthcare or social care, ideally with supervisory responsibilities
- A QQI Level 6 qualification in Supervisory Management, or be currently working towards this qualification
- Strong people management and leadership skills
- Experience supporting, coaching or mentoring care staff
- Experience carrying out client assessments, reviews, spot checks or quality audits
- Good knowledge of safeguarding, risk management and quality standards within care services
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills
- Confidence working independently in the community while remaining part of a wider team
- Strong IT and administrative skills
- A full, clean driving licence and access to a vehicle
- Full right to work in Ireland
- Availability to undertake a six-month maternity-cover contract
Experience working within HSE-funded home support services and knowledge of relevant HSE and HIQA standards would be a strong advantage.
