Assisting Hands Home Care is a locally owned, family-operated agency serving families across the Lutherville area. We built this company on one belief: that exceptional care begins with an exceptional experience, for our clients, their families, and our caregivers alike. We are growing, and we are looking for someone who wants to grow with us.

This is a full-time, in-office position, 40 hours a week, and it is the operational heartbeat of our agency. It starts as an hourly role and is designed to grow into a salaried management position for the right person. One thing we want to be clear about up front: this role requires participation in an evening and weekend on-call rotation. Caring for families doesn’t stop at 5 p.m., and we need someone who understands that going in. If you are organized, genuinely warm with people, and ready for that commitment, we want to meet you.

What you’ll do
You will be the central point of contact keeping our caregivers, clients, and families connected and cared for. Day to day, that means coordinating caregiver schedules, matching caregivers to clients based on skills and personality, and responding quickly and kindly to every call and email that comes in. You’ll support our hiring efforts, help keep client records accurate, and make sure we stay compliant with Maryland home care regulations.

You’ll also be a voice of the company. When a prospective family calls, you’ll listen, understand what they need, and help them see why families trust us. As you grow into the role, you’ll build relationships with local rehab facilities and physician offices that refer clients to us.

What we’re looking for
We care more about character and capability than a specific résumé. That said, the right person will have strong organizational skills, excellent written and verbal communication, and real comfort juggling competing priorities without losing their warmth. Experience in home care, healthcare, scheduling, or customer service is a strong plus. This position includes a required evening and weekend on-call rotation.

Compensation: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour
