About the Position

Life’s At Home Care provides compassionate, high-quality non-medical home care that helps individuals remain comfortable in their own homes. We are seeking a motivated Business Development Representative to build referral relationships and generate new client admissions.

This is a field-based, external sales position. You will spend most of your workweek visiting referral partners, developing new relationships, and representing Life’s At Home Care throughout the community. Regular local travel within the assigned territory is required.

Key Responsibilities

· Proactively identify and visit new referral sources, including hospitals, rehabilitation centers, senior living communities, and healthcare practices.

· Maintain consistent in-person outreach and follow-up with existing referral partners to generate qualified referrals.

· Schedule presentations, attend networking events, and educate referral partners and families about our home care services.

· Follow up with prospective clients and families, explain service options, and convert inquiries and referrals into new client admissions.

· Plan and manage your territory independently, including prospecting, appointment scheduling, and follow-up.

· Meet established goals for referral partner visits, qualified referrals, new client admissions, and billable-hour growth.

· Maintain accurate records of outreach, referral relationships, and sales pipeline progress.

· Coordinate with the operations team to support a smooth handoff and timely start of care.

Qualifications

· Previous outside sales or business development experience, with demonstrated success generating new business through prospecting, in-person outreach, and consistent follow-up.

· Demonstrated strong sales performance in any industry; healthcare or home care experience is not required.

· Strong presentation, communication, relationship-building, and sales skills.

· Professional, compassionate, self-motivated, and comfortable initiating contact with new referral sources.

· Ability to organize a territory, work independently, and remain accountable for sales results.

· Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and ability to travel locally for referral visits and community events.

Becoming a Caregiver

Professional caregivers go by many names: homemakers, home care aides, home health aides, certified nursing assistants, personal care assistants, direct care workers. No matter the name, what they all have in common is a calling to care for people in the comfort of their own homes.

As our population ages, the demand for caregivers is growing every day! Is this career right for you?
